Intern - International & Air Operations

SUMMARY

From Landstar’s corporate headquarters, provide administrative support for the international, NVOCC/ocean freight corporate operations                    

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Execute the systems set up of new customer and vendors

Support staff by finalizing shipment files

Produce reports for management

Assist staff with telephone coverage

Assist staff with freight rate quotation assistance

REQUIRED SKILLS

Good working knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities and seaports

Computer skills including MS Office applications

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Must be able to multi-task

Current university student with major focused on international business administration and/or logistics and supply chain management
