FULL TIME - Location: 301 W. Hurst Blvd., Hurst, TX - Factory -


The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the filling operations in the paint manufacturing plant. The Production Supervisor will supervise the day to day operations according to the needs of the scheduling group. The final candidate will also establish group and individual accountability throughout the manufacturing processes while focusing on new and improved techniques.

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise the day to day manufacturing operation (filling), while meeting or exceeding organizational KPI's as well as other objectives as other objectives as assigned by management.
Hire, train, and discipline employees as required.
Work with production management and other departmental managers to ensure timely Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety (QCDS) Performance Boards at each work area.
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining "standard work" using straightforward work instructions to sustain the improvements.
Assist in the development of a training plan to ensure associates possess the knowledge and skill required to implement and maintain manufacturing objective and Lean manufacturing efforts.
Leading projects to improve filling efficiency.
Responsible for payroll and vacation management of the manufacturing employees.
Perform other routine and non-routine duties, as the job requires.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to occasionally carry, relocate and or lift up to 50 pound cartons and containers.
Ability to work a regular schedule in an open office and production environment.


Experience in supervising in a packaging operation
Strong leadership and organizational skills
At least 2-3 years' experience supervising a manufacturing operation
Lean manufacturing exposure with a demonstrated knowledge of lean tools
Participated and Lead project improvements for efficiency and sustainability
Ability to use a computer and software applications, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office products to collect and measure data, ability to determine Root Cause Analysis, i/e. Why's Fishbone, etc.
Demonstrated ability to understand manufacturing within a fast paced automated environment
Ability to communicate knowledge and ideas effectively in writing and verbally
Proven ability to work with others and to be able to constructively resolve differences
Excellent time management and organization skills
Ability to engage with teammates and coach others
Ability to supervise on a production floor
