We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer.
 
The interior designer works closely with the marketing communications and product management teams to provide concepts, develop creative decks, design/style environments, specify furniture and space plan in support of photo shoots and renderings. This position will also design and specify trade show booths for regional/national shows and assist with updating vignettes within KI showrooms with new products. Additional responsibilities include providing design services for corporate renovations and facilities updates, developing planning ideas for the web site, participating in design reviews of new products and being an active member of the surface materials team.

 

The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a marketing mindset, enjoys collaborating with various team members and is detail-oriented. The ability to effectively communicate with architects, contractors and designers as well as read and understand architectural drawings, floor plans and bills of material is a must. Experience in contract interiors (education, corporate and healthcare markets) is preferred over residential. Candidate should also be proficient in AutoCAD and/or CET; familiarity with Keyshot and Adobe CS is helpful. An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is required.
