Title: Outbound Stock Clerk II

Reports to: Shipping Manager

Department: Shipping

Supervises: N/A

Organizational Relationships: Ship coordinators, shipping clerks and freight carriers.

Basic Function:

Verifying load slips for finished good production delivered to warehouse by Operations. Stocking finished goods in warehouse locations; pulling approved finished goods for shipment; and loading trucks on approved carriers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Verifies production load slips to ensure accurate recording of FG’s per pallet from production.
  2. Operate automatic stretch wrapper to wrap pallets.
  3. Store FG’s in rack or floor locations.
  4. Pull / stage FG’s as directed by Shipping Clerical personnel.
  5. Utilize / maintain “pull lists”.
  6. Load trucks as instructed by Shipping Clerical personnel.
  7. Maintain a neat, organized work area.
  8. Participate in safety and departmental meetings.
  9. Receive annual cyclical training as per training coordinator.
  10. Knowledgeable of DOT shipping rules / regulations (esp.: Hazardous shipments).
  11. Check trucks prior to shipment to ensure clean, odor free transit.
  12. Will obtain carrier signatures once freight is checked accepted by drivers.
  13. Unload returned FG’s provided a Return Authorization number is available.
  14. Segregates Quarantined / Hold FG’s from shippable stock.

Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. 0 to 12 months in shipping environment.
  3. Must read / write English.
  4. Must work well with addition/subtraction/multiplication and division.
  5. Forklift / Deep reach licensed required or will provide certification training.
