Position Purpose

This position is responsible in the Parts Customer Service team to meet team and business objectives. The incumbent will be required to work within the North American and Global Parts team to achieve set goals.

 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Chase suppliers through dealer backorder reports and populate promise dates
  • Chase suppliers on proactive risk of run out and populate promise dates
  • Place orders on suppliers manually and through replenishment ensuring good housekeeping of tracking and records including but not limited to order books are in line and over dues controlled
  • Analyze delivery discrepancies and partner with suppliers to resolve any issues including but not limited to goods inbound when there have been booking errors
  • Follow JCB SOP to process and take action on parked invoices
  • Partner with management to determine and coordinate the de-expedite of product by pushing back product which is not required at the time due to falls in the levels of demand
  • Seek and create solutions to amend parts with higher/lower levels of requirement such as but not limited to TI/FSI parts
  • Process goods in by requesting delivery notes from suppliers, confirming JCB part numbers not on delivery notes and/or over deliveries
  • Raise RTS notifications for parts that are over delivered or not on order with the supplier
  • Address Techweb calls especially calls inquiring about availability, delivery date confirmation or delivery date improvement of parts
  • Actively provide problem resolution including but not limited to checking any parts in goods-in query to establish which supplier they came from and confirm part number and request delivery note
  • Where required, follow 3rd party shipping process for utilization of CLG for shipping items directly out of Savannah factory
  • Proactively assist the business to meet its objectives

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse or similar experience

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Very strong organizational skills
  • Project management skills, including the abilities to handle multiple projects in an international environment and work effectively with colleagues and clients in diverse departments, geographic locations, and time zones
  • Ability to prioritize and to focus on details with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Light physical duty
