Material Planner - Baltimore

Position Summary

This position will report to the General Manager of Order Fulfillment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES

• Place orders against vendors based upon the S&OP, refine with monthly forecast.
• Manages and communicates supplier shortages to ensure the master schedule is achievable
• Manages the Remote Port and Order Fulfilment short sheet. 
• Responsible for the inventory management of attachments, including inventory on site and at offsite locations.  This includes inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Develops and executes drop ship process to remote port.
• Ensure materials are picked and shipped to remote port locations in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Works with 3PL process partners to ensure data from and to JCB is accurate
• Supervises hourly workforce of logistics employees that manage the warehousing of attachment inventory. 
   

Minimum Qualifications

• Four (4) year college degree, or equivalent and relevant experience.
• Must be able to work full-time

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Comfortable in an office environment and operating (or learning to operate) heavy equipment
• Technical competence a plus
• Must be customer service oriented, flexible, articulate, confident, persistent, organized, and have a high energy level
• Must have excellent follow-through skills
• Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain
