Position Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production process. Duties include a specific focus on the materials and goods required in the production phase, ensuring the working space is properly maintained in order to have optimal performance.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Plan individual part parameters to meet corporate goals of inventory levels
- Monitor supplier performance for timely shipping and parts supply
- Liaise with other areas to ensure resolution of any known supplier/material issues
- Expedite parts as required due to inventory loss or discrepancy, quality rejects, mis-usage, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.
- High school diploma
- Four years of experience in inventory control, planning or expediting for a manufacturing facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Five years of experience in inventory control, planning or expediting for a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Work with minimal supervision
- Good analytical skills with strong problem solving abilities
