The Payroll Dept ensures accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll by reviewing, and entering payroll processing changes such as, but not limited to, direct deposit, tax forms, timekeeping, employee PTO banks and participating in other payroll department activities as required.

The Jewish Board is currently seeking a Payroll Clerk. This role will be responsible for performing general Payroll Clerk duties, with some additional Payroll responsibilities. Applicants should have strong general math skills and knowledge of Payroll functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Reviewing/processing address changes and tax forms; Matching data entries with new hire documents for accuracy; Running new hire/termination reports ; Reviewing timesheets
  • Updating payroll records for direct deposit/pay card applications or garnishments; Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
  • Running/submitting Social Security verification reports; Handling employees Dept. of Labor Wage inquiries
  • Running other general payroll reports; Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests via phone, email or ticket system
  • Other duties as assigned




The Jewish Board is currently looking for talented nurses of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:


  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a clerk; OR an Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of experience as a clerk in some payroll or accounting capacity
  • Skilled in Microsoft Offices, including Excel
  • Experience with electronic timekeeping systems, preferably DayForce
