ABOUT THE JOB:
The Jewish Board’s Adult Residential Services division provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. Our staff use a culturally competent, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, in instill hope and to strengthen resiliency.
The Case Assistant is the introductory level of direct care staff working with residents of the Jewish Board’s supported housing programs in order to help residents live in the community as independently as possible.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports the clinical and case associate staff in their work with residential clients, and provides services to those clients within the scope of program regulations and agency mission.
Works one-on-one with residents to support their attainment of independent living skills (such as meal preparation,
managing laundry and cleaning, and financial management), and supports clients in meeting individual goals.
- Advocates on behalf of residents with other services providers.
- Interprets and explains agency policies and procedures to residents.
- Participates in planning and execution of special and holiday events.
- Conducts monthly unit/apartment inspections.

You should have:
- HS degree/HSE Required
- Two years of experience in a community mental health or human services setting preferred
