The JCSC Representative is responsible for the completion of requests received from the Janney Client Service Center clients who are interested in transacting orders in their brokerage accounts. This individual may also be responsible for other projects related to the JCSC as determined by the Director of Branch Administration.

   

 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client requests for information including communicating account balances and executing unsolicited trade orders, assisting clients with fund transfers and processing account maintenance requests
  • Partner with appropriate home office and branch staff to resolve client issues
  • Document and maintain controls to ensure all security balances and transactions in brokerage accounts comply with regulatory and company policies
  • Identify processing related issues and trends and recommend improvements to workflows
  • Complete ad hoc reporting and assignments as required


Required Experience:

  • Two-four years of experience in financial services, preferably at a broker dealer
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Experience with Thomson preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 (required); 65 or 66 licenses highly preferred or the ability to become registered in thirty (30) days
  • Strong customer service and telephone skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in an intense/fast-paced team-oriented work environment
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for working with people
  • A strong work ethic and goals and deliverables
  • Have strong oral and written communication and relationship management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are critical


This role will be hybrid, the individual will work approximately three days per week in-office. Individuals hired to work for a team/manager based in our Philadelphia Corporate Headquarters, will be required to show proof of vaccination per our Philadelphia Corporate Headquarters' policy.
