The Real Estate Transactions Administrator will help manage the lease transactions across Janney's Retail branch portfolio, Capital Markets locations and Philadelphia corporate headquarters.  Responsibilities include management of leases and Janney’s lease database, working with internal and external vendors to locate, lease and establish offices, project/construction tracking and reporting and overall day to day transactions support.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain Janney's internal lease tracking database to monitor and communicate critical dates and present business units with options and recommendations
  • Perform financial modeling for lease options
  • Assist with lease reviews and negotiations
  • Manage branch vacancy and rent to revenue reporting
  • Work closely with Janney’s 3rd party real estate services to audit lease and transaction data
  • Review/audit branch rent and operating expenses (OPEX) invoices
  • Track tenant improvement allowance dollars for renovation projects
  • Conduct landlord due diligence

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Minimum of 1-2 years real estate transaction experience
  • Experience in areas of real estate, property management, construction management and lease negotiation preferred
  • Strong analytical ability  
  • Must have a strong work ethic and possess solid organizational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Bachelor's degree


This role will be hybrid, the individual will work approximately three days per week in-office. In order to work on-site in our Philadelphia Corporate Headquarters, individuals will be required to show proof of vaccination.
