Dev Ops Engineer

The Dev Ops Engineer will recommend, design, and implement new services and support existing services, while working directly with our internal engineering teams. You will continually be looking for ways to improve both infrastructure and application deployment and testing pipelines, be responsible for overall system performance, uptime, and incident management.



What you will be doing:

  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions for technology stacks and container orchestration platforms
  • Implement Continuous Improvement Continuous Delivery solutions
  • Work with various source control technologies, including their connection to processes/pipelines
  • Aid customers in addressing challenges, help to recommend DevOps solutions in line with the customer’s goals
  • Work with development team to build, deploy, and maintain software in cloud environments
  • Work with product security to develop and implement security best practices
  • Oversee cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
  • Automate cloud deployments using Terraform
  • Software Configuration Management using Ansible
  • Administer Docker Clusters


What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent Required, Field of Study: Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in development operations position--systems operation, monitoring, code deployments, security, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience using Windows, MS Office, systems operation, monitoring, code deployments, security, and network infrastructure
  • Production level experience with distributed applications as scale in cloud (AWS/Azure)
  • Experience with configuration management and deployment automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and Ansible
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good knowledge of Bash or Python or some other programming language
