Harris Beach is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the Business Development (BD) team to support marketing and business development initiatives for the firm. You will THRIVE in this role if you have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in marketing or marketing communications (preferred)
  • 1-3+ years of marketing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Effectively and efficiently respond to timely requests and concerns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media, Constant Contact (or other email marketing tools)
  • Excellent organization and project management skills to track and manage multiple and highly variable projects
  • Highly detail-oriented mindset to produce accurate and quality work product
  • Flexibility to work beyond the traditional work hours for occasional project needs

The Marketing Assistant will work closely with department team members to support the firm’s strategic plans, as well as general administrative and organizational needs of the department. Do you have the DRIVE and DESIRE to:

  • Support of digital marketing by maintaining up-to-date content updates to the website and social media sites
  • Support internal communications through the firm’s knowledge management platforms, such as its intranet and its electronic newsletter
  • Assist with firm and client event logistics with support such as name tags, presentation folders, PowerPoint formats and attendance certificates where applicable
  • Support proposal submissions, including the preparation of standard materials and necessary forms
  • Maintain the tracking data base of individual attendance at firm sponsored community programs and events
  • Assist coordinating directories and survey information submissions
  • Assist with scheduling/coordinating large meetings
  • Coordinate with the department marketing designer the ordering and maintaining of firm logo items
  • Assist with the onboarding of new attorneys and staff. i.e. ordering business cards, setting up the firm’s online business card service
  • Assist with updating attorney bios
  • Manage and distribute firm purchased business development sports and entertainment tickets and entrance passes
  • Assist with answering and screening cold call inquiries on firm services
  • Assist with the submission and routing of invoices connected to department managed budgets
  • Assist with managing the firm-wide calendar on the intranet
