Location: New York, NY (4 days in the office, 1 day remote)

Description: Prepare family-based immigrant petitions and applications for adjustment of status and consular processing, including Forms I-485 and DS-260. File motions and evidentiary submissions in Immigration Court, including adjustment of status, cancellation of removal, venue changes, and motions to substitute. Prepare waiver applications (I-601A, I-601, I-212) for clients inside and outside of the U.S. Work closely with our clients to provide comprehensive immigration services. Compile and maintain records of immigration filings, other documentation and records of activity on behalf of clients. Review immigration regulations and be able to apply them to various case scenarios.


  • Prepare forms and correspondence
  • Write detailed and complex supporting argumentation
  • Work closely with clients to gather and organize supporting documentation, and case administration
  • Prepare filings for relevant federal and state agencies
  • Conduct research on immigration law and procedures
  • Prepare draft correspondence and memoranda
  • Track the status of filings and inform the client and attorney of any follow up that may be necessary


  • Minimum 1-2 years of immigration experience including at least 1 year processing waivers and filing motions in Immigration Court
  • Required: able to fluently speak Spanish
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field emphasizing writing or communication preferred
  • Superior writing/editing skills for complex support letters
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple high-volume priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong skills with MS Office and expertise with computer assisted legal resources required
  • Maintains high standards of performance
  • Exhibits conscientiousness, dedication, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility
  • Must have a professional, cooperative, positive and flexible attitude
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization
  • Must exhibit well-developed interpersonal and client relation skills
  • Exhibits strong oral and written communications skills
  • Thorough command of the English language including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style
  • Ability to compose professional correspondence
  • Military experience welcome
