Brief Summary of Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Personal Care:

  • Teach, supervise and direct individuals with developmental disabilities in the activities of daily living.
  • Assist with feeding, clothing, toileting, and other hygiene needs.
  • Assist in providing self-care training in areas such as cooking, housekeeping, or hygienic practices.
  • Administer medications as ordered and document the delivery of each.
  • Transport individuals in personal vehicle on scheduled outings and activities in order to promote community inclusion.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Personal Care Requirements:

  • Valid OH Driver’s License & Auto Insurance
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Reliable Transportation
