We are currently searching for an outgoing, caring leader to join our team as a Real Estate Risk Analyst.


Our company’s culture supports customers in achieving their financial goals and dreams.  The Real Estate Risk Analyst supports the Real Estate Risk Officer by serving as a liaison between the Real Estate Risk Group and the Locations and Real Estate Department.  Responsibilities will include:

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage appraisal orders with vendors
  • Conduct due diligence on approved appraisers for GBT, qualifications, quality of work, compliant research, etc.
  • Maintain database daily
  • Track orders to assure received within required time frame
  • Provide status updates to locations and to the real estate department
  • Field appraisal related questions from internal departments as well as from customers
  • Coordinate internal and external appraisal reviews
  • Manage and recommend additions/deletions to approved appraiser list as needed
  • Closely monitor work of approved appraisers, and identify potential risks regarding certain appraisers and appraisal assignments
  • As needed, perform evaluations under the direction of the Real Estate Risk Officer
  • Proficient in appraisal rules and regulations for compliance purposes and maintain ongoing training as needed
  • Serve as liaison between real estate department and locations to continually improve the appraisal/appraisal review process
  • Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
  • Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.
  • Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
  • Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
  • Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

Education, Experience & Licenses:

  • High School diploma or equivalent  
  • Real Estate underwriting experience a plus.
  • Certified Residential or General License preferred
