Full Stack Software Developer

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer with demonstrable skills in building applications for the modern web. Your primary focus will be on end-to-end feature development of new and existing products as we expand our government permitting and licensing platform.

You will coordinate with the rest of the team on features, issues, infrastructure and enhancements. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

The Responsibilities

• Feature development of new and existing products
• Investigation and resolution of reported issues
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform through strong architectural design
• Develop standards, tools, processes, libraries, and frameworks that facilitate the development of reliable, secure, performant, and consistent services
• Identify and resolve issues related to scalability and performance

What We’re Looking for:

Required

• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and at least one other language
• 5+ years experience building end-to-end features
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have

• Ruby on Rails experience
• Experience with highly configurable EAV (entity attribute value) systems
• Language design experience
• Devops and operations experience
• GIS / Postgis experience
