POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the GEC Computer Systems Manager in the following areas: management of IT equipment inventory – including keeping accurate records, configuration of computers, and assisting student and staff users with basic technology issues. The IT Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting the school’s motto: “Relationships, Relevance, and Rigor”. This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Manages new IT equipment inventory, working independently to unbox, inspect, inventory, and prepare equipment for delivery to appropriate location for deployment.
2.Under the guidance of the GEC Computer Systems Manager, configures and installs new or replacement PCs, laptops, network printers, and scanners.
3.Accesses and utilizes GEC Asset Management processes to ensure all IT equipment is registered correctly and managed properly.
4.Produces and accurately updates online records of accountable property, working closely with management to ready IT equipment for deployment in a timely manner.
5.Monitors and responds quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT ticketing system by following established routing and workflow procedures.
6.Provides technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
7.Elevate complex issues/problems to appropriate resources, including third-party vendors Track progress, follow up as required to ensure timely resolution.
8.Assist with Maintaining IT supplies and inventory (toners, peripherals, etc.…).
9.Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
1.High school diploma and minimum of 6-12 months in data-related administrative work.
2.Exceptional attention to detail.
3.Self-starter and proactive in completing tasks in a timely fashion and able to work on several assignments concurrently.
4.Ability to work well independently and as a member of a highly collaborative team.
5.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams
6.Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively with staff at all levels within the organization and ability to interact with students in a professional, friendly and helpful manner
7.Strong aptitude for and interest in learning new things.
Preferred Qualifications
1.Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of administrative, basic computer support, or related experience.
2.Experience with asset management and helpdesk ticketing applications
3.Strong quantitative skills and experience working with Office 365 applications.
4.Experience in a customer-facing role.
5.Knowledge of education terminology and exposure to or experience in the education sector a plus.

Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/ carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
