The Leasing Trainer is an expert in teaching new team members the importance of service and making connections with our residents! Leasing Specialists bring exceptional experiences to life every day for our current and future residents through active engagement in the marketing of properties, partnering with applicants through the showing and leasing process, and anticipating and responding to resident and property maintenance needs, requests, and concerns. This position will collaborate with current team members to train all current and new team members on standard operating policies, procedures, and best practices relative to property sales and marketing.

Leasing Trainers are a key part of the property management team and work closely with their fellow team members to achieve and maintain maximum occupancy of their properties, strong resident satisfaction results, as well as working closely with fellow team members and the Property Sales Training Manager.

Starting pay $24 per hour (or more based on experience) + incentives!

Job Duties Include: 

  • Assist in successful development, delivery and evaluation of any training associated with technology, operating systems, policies, processes and team and leadership development.
  • Use proven sales skills to lease apartments and educate new team members on skill implementation.
  • Advertise and market properties daily by use of social media and other marketing platforms.
  • Tour and present the property and available apartment homes with prospective residents and apply product knowledge to close the sale.
  • Train and support all new and existing team members on resident relations and retention.

Experience and Education:

  • 2 years of previous experience in a training or facilitation role preferred.
  • Prior experience in property management or a related industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong sales skills and aptitude with confidence and drive to close the sale.
  • Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set.
  • Collaborator who works well and supports everyone to achieve our goals and objectives.
