The Maintenance Technician 2 is a critical member of our team who can solve a problem for our residents to keep them happy and satisfied by ensuring requests and repairs are made in a reliable, timely and safe manner. Maintenance Technicians are accountable for identifying problems, completing service requests, and making repairs in accordance with operating and safety standards.

Starting pay $21 per hour (or more based on experience and overtime available)!

Job Duties Include:

  • Complete assigned Service Requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties. This includes areas of heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, HVAC, and other general repairs. Recommending replacement or repair, as necessary. Ensure that all work completed is professional and clean after leaving our residents homes.
  • Prepare open apartments for rental within 24 to 72 hours. This may include coordinating the work of other staff or vendors.
  • Participate in ongoing training to build and maintain knowledge and skills to excel in the role of a Maintenance Technician.
  • Build and maintain resident relationships by addressing and responding to requests, questions, and concerns, making referrals to manager or maintenance team members as appropriate.
  • Rotating on-call schedule.

Experience and Education:

  • A High School degree, GED or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle, vehicle insurance and clean driving record for past 3 years
  • Company vehicle provided when working evenings/weekends for rotating on call with a premium rate paid when on-call
  • Training & tools (valued at $1,100) are PROVIDED!

  • Has previous maintenance experience, handyman and knowledge in maintenance repairs.
