In this role, we will expect you to:

  • Develop, test and release web experiences in a timely fashion.
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail and quality, reflecting our high standards.
  • Be a strong team player who can rapidly and productively adapt to changing business and customer demands.
  • Work with developers, designers, testers, and product/business managers to develop and refine new features consistent with our product roadmap.
  • Learn and absorb new technologies and techniques quickly.
  • Be innovative: contributing ideas and working with constituents to evaluate and propose approaches that balance speed-to-market with what’s needed to sustainably scale our services to an enormous audience.
  • Maintain awareness of new technologies and industry developments that will affect either our users’ behavior or our ability to deliver value.
  • Perform other essential tasks as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 6-8+ years of experience as a web software engineer
  • Expertise in the following areas:
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    • Responsive / Adaptive Web Design
    • Web site performance analysis and improvement
  • Creating web sites that are accessible to users who require assistive technologies
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments.
  • Have used source control (GitHub/GitLab) to manage source code
  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Strong debugging skills with the ability to work with peers to solve complex problems
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, and procedures, with an emphasis on Agile methodologies (XP or Scrum).
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to solve critical issues & work well in time critical situations, with occasional availability after hours for emergency troubleshooting
