This position is responsible for assisting the Manager and Assistant Manager of Admissions/Guest Relations with all front Gate, Admissions, Guest Relations and Membership operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily operation of the Front Gate, Admissions, Guest Relations and Membership
• Responsible for set up of daily assignment sheet; scheduling employees’ lunch break times; opening and/or closing duties; providing additional training of employees
• Assist with programming and set-up of system registers
• Assist gate cashiers and/or ticket takers, as needed
• Ensure that staff is performing best guest service practices

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Demonstrates leadership of employees through ongoing training to include applicable laws, Zoo policies, business conduct and ethics and the provision of quality services to guests and employees supporting the highest level of program integrity. 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Must be available to work weekends and Wednesdays
• Possess skills to operate basic office equipment
• Valid driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record to maintain zoo standards of insurability

Education and/or Experience:
• 1-2 years supervisory cash handling experience with customer relations background
• Possess demonstrated computer knowledge in Windows programs

Physical Demands: 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or or move up to 50 pounds.
