JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Supports and drives programs designed to improve the talent within the organization in alignment with the organizations strategic plan. Establishes recruiting strategies, researches and executes new and innovative sourcing strategies, and designs and measures results of recruiting strategies. Recruits, researches, interviews, screens, and manages the full recruitment life cycle, including and defining and managing the company on-boarding program. Collaborates with HR Team to establish employment branding practices and corporate hiring initiatives. This position will direct recruitment activities of support staff. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. Works in conjunction with the EHS Manager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.  
•    Manages and coordinates staffing activities which includes recruitment, interviewing, background screening, reference checks, and hiring of non-exempt, manufacturing and non-manufacturing, and exempt level positions. Manages recruiters, both internal and external, to ensure program aligns with business needs and incorporates external influences to the recruiting process.
•    Establishes networks and maintains partnerships with third party organizations such as recruitment agencies, schools, public organizations, and monitors its effectiveness. Creates and maintains systems used to identify current and future talent needs and develop a talent pool.
•    Monitors the recruiting program to ensure competitiveness within the marketplace and consistency with company compensation philosophy.

•    Has a strong knowledge of employment law, and ensures compliance with company and governmental regulations such as OFCCP, EEO, and DOL
•    Directs activities designed to build a positive candidate experience, promote and maintain a high level of employee morale, and takes necessary action to create a positive employee-employer relationship.
•    Develops and maintains recruiting strategies and metrics such as diversity, cost of hire, and time to fill which are used to evaluate the effectiveness of the recruiting process and drives continuous improvement.
•    Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills. Write and/or revise job descriptions as needed. Experience interacting with all levels of supervision, team members and leadership; proven positive interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
•    Manage job postings on company website, job boards and social media posts, 
•    Define and manage on-boarding program along with measuring effectiveness of the program. •    Provide for the selection, training, professional development, and work evaluation of subordinate staff and make recommendations on hiring, termination, promotion, and discipline as required. Develop annual performance goals during annual performance review process along with completing performance evaluation.
•    Monitor and direct day-to-day operations of assigned personnel to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being accomplished efficiently and effectively; takes corrective action as necessary.

•    Must have high level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
•    Assist Human Resource team where time allows on various projects

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related program; and at least three years related HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment and three years or more in full cycle Recruiter role; or equivalent combination of education and training.  PHR or SHRM-SCP a plus. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce a plus.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: 

Enthusiastic and creative approach to sourcing and recruiting with a clear ability to effectively communicate orally and written the benefits of working at Signicast. Must be able to effectively communicate with employees to share information about organization and, solves problems, and instructs or train lesser skilled employees.  Must have the ability to read and interpret complex documents. Must be able to write documents and correspondence. Proven experience in coaching/mentoring supervisors/managers, dealing with difficult conversations and maintaining professionalism during high stress situations. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. 
 
REASONING ABILITY: 

Ability to identify and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to gather and analyze data, and ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
 
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

Excellent computer skills required in a Microsoft Windows environment. Knowledgeable or familiarity with applicable ISO/TS and quality system requirements and policies. Solid working knowledge of HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
