Summary:

A successful Product Owner/Analyst will use their skills to innovate the proprietary products and systems used by the back-office departments (Trading, Compliance, Credit, etc.) for the Cross Border Business. This position will focus firstly on understanding current proprietary systems supporting the Global business today and how we can introduce industry-standard 3rd party software for parts of the current infrastructure.  The right candidate is responsible for clearly articulating the journey that our cross-border transactions take through the back-office systems, documents key user journey flows clearly for others to understand.  He/she writes feature/story requirements and oversees all phases and aspects of the Agile development cycle and Launch to the business.  

About the product

The ’Cross Border - Global Payments’ product focuses on a client’s ability to reach different currency corridors, payment processing, settlement, and transparency over the payments process. We provide customers with a comprehensive suite of online payment solutions including Bill Payment, AP Automation, Cross-Border Payments, Currency Risk Management, and Commercial Card Programs. As the largest commercial issuer of Mastercard in North America, Corpay handles over three billion transactions each year. Corpay is part of the FLEETCOR (NYSE: FLT) portfolio of brands. 
This role is focused on Operations scalability, Expansion of Currency capabilities, and Rails integration; all of which are carried out via Corpay proprietary systems which are a one-stop shop for internal stakeholders to book, review, and process payments. The same systems also are connected to 3rd parties enabling Corpay internal teams to carry out compliance reviews and process/manage cross-border payments. This role comes with the need to own a product roadmap, process research, market analysis, and operations scalability responsibilities. In this role your typical day will consist of the below:

Discover Backoffice systems & applications and how they are all interconnected, to meet key business goals, such as achieving a higher degree of ops scale, platform performance, risk reduction, etc. 
Create and use user personas at product inception and when building a solution/product.
Turn business requirements into a detailed user journey map, Epics, and feature/user stories to be consumed by development and QA teams. 
Lead scrum team/s, Oversee/align all phases and aspects of agile software development cycle and be the voice of business users at all agile ceremonies, (standup, retro, sprint planning).
Create, Maintain, and Prioritize product backlog based on business value/importance.
Work on products related to payment methodologies like SWIFT wires (MT1, 2, and 9 series), EFTs, ACHs, SEPA, and Faster Payments.
Develop SWIFT GPI and ISO20022 integration with Corpay proprietary systems. 
Facilitate & negotiate key conversations and ensure a mutual decision is arrived at.
Formulate launch strategy and implementation of launch activities per agreed timelines.
Successfully create and maintain Product Roadmap in close collaboration with the Director – Of Product Management.
Effectively collaborate with various cross-functional groups such as Business, Engineering, Infrastructure, Networking, etc.
Efficiently create, monitor, and share success metrics for each Initiative/Epic with key stakeholders.
Any other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
3+ years working in product management and demonstrated experience in building products for internal operations teams.
Experience working with back-office operations teams.
Proven track record of successfully launching a product and following through with the success metrics post-launch.
In-depth knowledge of SWIFT messages and SWIFT products such as SWIFT GPI and ISO2022 messages.
Deep understanding of global payments channels such as SEPA, Faster payments, ACH, etc.
Experience working with UX design & Agile Scrum Teams
Experience working in Global Payments or an equivalent business.
Experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Aha for Product Management lifecycle / Experience in managing teams working with the above tools
Experience with consumer insights and product/industry research.
Working knowledge of SQL and/or Power BI.
CSPO is good to have.
