Job Introduction:
 

Comdata has initiated a search for a Senior Director, Commercial Products focused on the Small Fleet sales channel for our North America Trucking (NAT) division. We are seeking an experienced product manager to drive growth in FLEETCOR's North American Trucking Division. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep expertise of the small independent fleet trucking customer in order to demonstrate industry leadership and influence the product roadmap.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitor analyses to identify opportunities improve our core offerings, introduce new concepts, and create campaigns in the Small Fleet trucking channel.
  • Create, manage and launch Go-To-Market plans in conjunction with sales and marketing.
  • Manage effective product-related customer communications and improve organizational responsiveness to customer product requirements.
  • Establish key performance metrics to measure product success on ongoing basis and adapt roadmap to improve product performance.
  • Create and execute product plans (short-term and long-term) that drive growth in the market, primarily from new sales, product utilization, cross-sell, and improved customer satisfaction/retention.
  • Strengthen the FLEETCOR brand at relevant touch points and broaden the product range based on customer insight and demand, while being point of contact for Sales Leadership. 
  • Work with a cross-functional team in a matrixed environment (including IT, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Credit) to manage products and solutions in market.
  • Work with product peers, operations teams, sales and service to ensure internal stakeholder considerations are captured, prioritized and implemented.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • BS/BA from a 4-year college or university with MBA preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a combination of product development, product marketing, product launches, and/or strategy consulting roles required, preferably in the Fleet or Trucking industry.
  • Proven ability to grow best-in-class, differentiated and creative products through sound vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution.
  • Contribute by insightful and thoughtful questioning, offering new ideas, and delivering solutions
  • Ambitious and resourceful; results oriented; highly innovative. 
  • Focused on business value creation through continuous improvement and innovation.
