The Platform Product Manager supports the company vision to create a comprehensive customer experience across a growing suite of spend management solutions and supporting applications.  They are responsible to expand, improve and maintain the core platform capabilities that are at the center of our business strategy.

The goals for this position include: 

Seamless UX across the suite of independent user facing products and applications
Support rapid growth of customer accounts and users 
Scale transaction capacity to handle increased volume while improving speed and reliability
Implement new technologies that can benefit multiple product offerings
Expand core services and further integrate our growing suite of products 

Job Duties
Develop, champion, and execute the strategic platform product roadmap
Coordinate multiple development teams and product owners to execute the platform roadmap
Initiate user research studies to understand overlapping user needs across all products 
Collaborate with UX and Design teams to enhance the overall user experience
Partner with application Product Managers to align application and platform roadmaps
Establish customer configuration standards to easily offer product bundles and add on services
Manage authentication, security, and regulatory compliance across the platform
Build business cases for new technologies and capabilities to expand cross-product capability
Recommend and implement platform capabilities to enable flexibility, scalability, and extensibility
Make trade-off and prioritization recommendations to the executive team for platform capabilities
Establish and achieve platform KPI’s and SLA’s 
View the broader development team and functional teams as customers and stakeholders 
Deliver platform improvements that enable application development teams to increase velocity

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 
5-7 years’ experience in technical product management in B2B SaaS
Ability to see the big picture impact of platform capability from infrastructure to diverse end users
Experience bridging technical and business needs to breakdown long-term complex problems into an executable roadmap that delivers continuous value 
Strong collaboration skills to effectively work across the organization 
Experience with shipping and leading developer-facing products
Understand differences between web-based and native app experiences and how to support both
Highly analytical, with an ability to make trade off recommendations without perfect data 
Proven record of leading multiple workstreams across multiple scrum teams 
Deep experience with Agile development methodologies, Scrum preferred

Education and Experience
5-7 years’ experience in technical product management for a B2B SaaS product offerings
Bachelor’s degree and MBA preferred
Financial industry experience preferred
