Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Focus: Lead customer-focused working groups related to your specialty, ensuring customer satisfaction. Facilitate remote troubleshooting of marine rigging and material handling (davit) systems supporting mission capability.
  • Field Service Support: Collaborate with Field Service for casualty assessments, corrective action plans, and customer requests.
  • Quality Assistance: Support Quality with warranty projects, failure analyses, and manage technical projects.
  • Integrated Logistics Support (ILS): Collaborate on maintenance plans, standards, and technical documentation, including SILs, Technical Bulletins, and Engineering Change Orders.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Support Engineering and Field Service with unique troubleshooting efforts.
  • Internal Support: Provide general support to internal departments, including equipment overhauls and evaluations, assisting Sales with customer requests for design upgrades, component enhancements, and supporting Customer Service with part information requests.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of one plus year of marine rigging and material handling equipment, including hydraulic systems and PLC controls or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and presentation abilities.
  • Strong project planning skills to manage various responsibilities effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Travel required up to 25% to customer field locations, Service Centers, etc.
  • This position requires access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information. Proof of US Citizenship is mandatory.
