EXL is looking for an Assistant Manager Data Analyst in our Healthcare Business Unit. This is a remote role within the US.

Basic Functions:

• 1+ Years of experience in developing SQL queries, Stored procedures, and Functions.
• Performs advanced data analytics including monitoring performance, query development, opportunity assessments, trend identification and bulk data inserts.
• Preferred Knowledge on Big data technology and programming tools - Hadoop, Hive and Zeppelin
• Develop, evolve, deploy, and manage analytic and reporting services and processes, ensuring all deliverables meet the requirements of customers and EXL’s Health business goals.
• Produce scalable and flexible, high-quality code that satisfies both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Coordinate and prioritize analytical including client communication, planning, and identifying operational process flow, ability to plan, manage and execute projects within the targeted timelines.
• Responsible for addressing production support issues on day-to-day basis and closing them on time.
• Propose new and state of – the – art technologies and processes that will improve efficiency and enhance the reporting platform.
• Delivers results with analytic insights, interpretations and recommendations presents in a professional manner with a high customer service focus.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to write programs independently using technologies like SQL, Hive QL etc.
• Quick learner with ability to understand product’s functionality end to end.
• Would be responsible for tuning queries for performance, security, and stability of the reports.
• Need to understand the functional aspects of the reports being developed & perform deployment.

Technical Skills:

• Required Skills:
  • SQL Server:  Advanced SQL, Stored procedures, and functions.
  • Enterprise modeling tool and data integration platform – (SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS))
  • NET, ASP.NET MVC, React JS, jQuery, C#.

• Skills Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge on Cloud technologies
  • Certifications in Data analytics/Database

• Process Specific:
  • US Healthcare Insurance
  • Healthcare Claims Processing
  • ICD Codes and classifications
  • Subrogation Process
• Soft Skills:

Working Hours:

• General Shift – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Education:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with Computer or Software development background.
