This is a part-time position at Memphis Graceland RV Park & Campground having variable/flexible working hours to include weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime as needed. This is an internal/external recruitment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the RV Park Manager, register guests; collect appropriate fees; assign camp sites; book advance reservations; act as switchboard operator, receiving calls and taking messages; maintain records of camp site assignments; answer questions about services, checkout times, the local community and attractions, as well as other matters in a public relations capacity; provide superior guest service; assist in maintaining the office/camp store in a clean, safe, and organized manner; stock and inventory gift/grocery & part items for retail; represent the campground in a professional manner; all other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated knowledge of general clerical duties; previous cash handling and customer service experience; must have computer/POS experience; organizational skills to determine workload in a timely manner; ability to work quickly and accurately under constant pressure; must be able to communicate both in person and on the telephone with a wide variety of individuals; skill to exercise tact and diplomacy during discussions with campground guest; ability to problem solve; must demonstrate superior guest service/relations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to speak clearly and distinctly both in person and on the telephone; lift packages weighing up to twenty-five (25) lbs.; ability to stop and reach; ability to climb stairs; ability to stand for long period of time.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Identification badge and uniform is required, must practice good hygiene to present a clean and healthy appearance at all times.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Work in a no smoking area; must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as required; must be able to work holidays; ability to maintain confidentiality.
