We are excited to hire a Producer/Editor/Reporter. The Producer/Editor/Reporter is responsible for producing, editing, reporting, and hosting video content for Denver Broncos ThunderVision and Broadcast Productions.  The primary role in this position is that of a producer and editor, with the reporting and on-air portion being of secondary importance.  As a Producer, this person will be a creative writer, interviewer, editor and enterprising storyteller and will be a strong editor.  Experience as a reporter, host or anchor is preferred.  The Producer/Editor/Reporter position may represent the Broncos brand with our broadcast partners (possible appearances on their channels), in the community and through internal programming as needed.                                                     


Responsibilities include:

Create ThunderVision and Broadcast Content by:

  • Being the lead producer (idea generation, research, writing, creating rundowns, conducting interviews, scheduling guests, etc.) for assigned programming;
  • Being the lead editor on programs and features committing to exceptional writing and storytelling;
  • Delivering completed content to various distribution platforms;
  • Ensuring that all content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality;
  • Reviewing completed productions to evaluate execution and incorporating reviews in improving future content.
  • Assisting in the capturing and acquiring of content (recording press conferences, conducting interviews, requesting video from other sources, occasionally shooting, etc.).

Serve as a Presenter of Content by:

  • Hosting, reporting and otherwise appearing on camera (or on radio) for Broncos produced productions and/or Broncos-led Events;
  • Representing Broncos in partner programming on occasion;
  • Hosting features in the stadium for Broncos’ Game Day/ThunderVision.
Requirements:
  • Submit professional cover letter and resume;
  • Bachelors degree in Communication, Broadcasting, Journalism or related field;
  • At least 3 years’ experience editing sports related content;
  • Experience working in media production with a team, sports broadcaster or venue;
  • Professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premiere);
Preferred expectations:
  • Experience Producing Sports Related, Long-Form Programs;
  • Professional Level Editing (with Adobe Premiere);
  • On-air presence, voice and appearance and comfort interviewing and moderating discussions;
  • Writing Ability (as Reflected in Cover Letter);
  • Candidates will be required to submit a resume/demo reel showcasing their skills and work;
  • Understand Working with a Sports Team and its Impact on the Editorial Process;
  • Knowledge of NFL Football;
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, live environment;
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks;
  • Highly Motivated and Positive;
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Good Verbal Communication Skills 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $77,000 - $83,000. This is a full-time exempt position. This position will be required to work game days and/or events outside of a normal working hours as needed. A request for demo/resume reel may be requested for those qualified to move forward.
