Job Summary

The incumbent will own the service parts planning and material requirement processes across the Cynosure portfolio of product platforms and accessories. This position directly influences our customer satisfaction and will enable improved visibility and commitment to supports customer service teams. This is a highly visible position that interacts with all levels of the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Work with regional service teams to understand component needs and resource constraints
  • Responsible to work with stakeholders to build and implement a sku-level forecast for parts and assemblies
  • Collaborate with suppliers to reserve production capacity that meets service demand
  • Must be able to work with raw material suppliers to resolve component schedule issues and involve cross-functional resources where necessary for problem resolution.
  • Monitor MRP outputs to ensure all material requirements are comprehended in the plan.
  • Review current inventory to determine current and future needs.
  • Work with purchasing team to ensure raw material plan aligns to business needs.
  • Work with supplier manufacturing teams to prioritize production requirements to minimize product stock outs.
  • Develop reporting tools to monitor supplier performance against plan and order backlog status.
  • Work with customer facing teams to support customer needs, help prioritize order fulfillment in support of driving a positive customer experience.
  • Comfortable working outside of traditional job descriptions, willing to help out team members in any of our operations departments as needed.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree required

Specific Area of Study: Business or Supply Chain discipline preferred

Experience

5 to 8 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment in a Supply Chain capacity

  • MS Office and Automated Materials Management computer experience
  • Well organized, self-motivated and customer obsessed.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability and skills to communicate effectively at all levels of our organization.

  • Must be versatile and a self-starter able to work without close supervision. The ability to maintain scheduling needs.
