Job Summary

Responsible to oversee, manage, and coordinate the order process to ensure customer and company satisfaction. Prepare correspondence and fulfill internal/external customer needs. Proactively supports the needs of the sales force to ensure the ongoing success of the company.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Orchestrates all aspects of laser orders by verifying purchase order/quote accuracy, product availability, product restrictions for the country, entering and allocating orders.
  • Owns the Sales orders and all related deadlines
  • Maintain/Run the open order report
  • Adheres to Sarbanes-Oxley process requirements for the department.
  • Interfaces with and develops cross-functional relationships with A/R, Invoicing, Quality, and Manufacturing.
  • Work with the logistics team to help maintain an uninterrupted product flow to the customer.
  • Provides sales and field service updates on order status, shipping information and product availability.
  • Informs Product Managers on what needs to be changed with the products, based on customer complaints /feedback
  • Processing RMA’s/Credits per companies return policy.
  • Support National Sales and Demo Admin

High School degree/equivalent required

Associate degree required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Education and experience combination:

Associate degree is equivalent to 18 months of experience

Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to three (3) years of experience



0 to 1 year’s relevant experience

1 to 2 years relevant experience

2 to 4 years relevant experience

5+ years relevant experience


Specific Related Experience: Customer Service



  • ERP System (preferably SAP/
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations
  • Knowledge of commonly used customer service and business concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Demonstrates independent judgment as needed for customer satisfaction.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Shrewd negotiating skills
  • Strong team member
  • Team player, well organized, sees tasks through to completion

  • Potential Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
  • Potential Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
