Pro Shop Sales Associate (FT and PT Seasonal)

Job Summary

A Pro Shop Sales Associate is responsible for providing an excellent guest and member experiences in the Kinlochen Pro Shop with primary focus on retail sales, maintaining a neat sales floor, scheduling tee times and guest check-in.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

·         Genuinely welcome and engage with members and guests visiting the shop to create an exceptional experience.

·         Assess customer needs and recommend the best products to suit them.

·         Accurately register players, schedule starting times, manage tee sheet, provide information as to the days’ rules/setup, and communicate with outside operations with changes.

·         Perform opening and closing procedures of the shop.

·         Answer phone and assist members and guests with questions.

·         Knowledgeable on the lines and products carried in the shop and able to answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.

·         Accurately ring up purchases and process transactions. Will be responsible for being aware of and applying promotions and discounts when applicable.

·         Assist with merchandising retail, including tagging, straightening, stocking and updating displays.

·         Keep the shop neat, clean and visually appealing at all times.

·         Assist with inventory management by recognizing the need to reorder items such as: golf balls, tees, glove sizes, repair tools, etc. and follow procedures to notify the retail team.

·         Assist with tournament organization and preparation.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position

Physical & Other Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
• Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
• Non-smoking candidates preferred.
