Truck Driver
Truck Driver / Warehouse:
SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW
Class A diver for scheduled local routes split with daily warehouse responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES
Locates and moves trailers as directed by Receiving, Shipping, & Traffic personnel.
Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
Meet on-time departure and deliver schedule metrics
Moves trailers to docks and yard as directed.
Complies with all traffic procedures.
Complies with all safety procedures.
Excellent safety record.
Communicates and contributes to department goals and objectives.
Communicates any equipment damage to management.
Load and unload trailers.
Supports warehousing and packaging operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Dimensions)
High School diploma or equivalent experience
Has active/current Driver’s License, preferably CDL.
2 years driver experience.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to listen and follow detailed instructions.
Ability to organize and complete all necessary paperwork in English.
Full-time Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed. After 40 hours eligible for overtime.
