Job Description

Job Summary:

This position oversees the day-to-day management and execution of all email, SMS and print campaigns which drive safety and promotional information about medications directly to prescribers and their patients. Program management includes all operational and budget-management aspects of the program from inception through providing performance results to clients. Supports multiple internal clients including Business Development, Finance and Marketing.


What you will do: 


  • Work with the Sr. Specialist on the messaging team to help manage and coordinate daily execution of standard and behavior-based email programs; provides ongoing status updates to both internal and external clients. 
  • Develop client-facing project plans that establish timelines, milestones, and deliverables necessary for successful execution of sponsored campaigns in both electronic (email and SMS) and print channels.
  • Build email workflows from initial HTML coding and campaign creation to final launch for optimal deliverability & opens.
  • Responsible for the integrity and maintenance of the healthcare provider (HCP) contact database used to drive all Messaging offerings.
  • Responsible for the daily supervision of and career development for the Sr. Specialist on the messaging team.
  • Maintain critical relationships with multiple email and print vendors to help keep ConnectiveRx electronic channel distribution and deliverability levels efficient and competitive.
  • Query and provide HCP outreach counts to internal and external customers in support of RFPs or to help determine project scope.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturer and agency contacts to meet project deadlines.


What we need from you: 


  • Ability to evaluate and resolve HTML and workflow issues
  • Problem solving, results orientated, analytical and high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to engage with, understand, anticipate and address client and vendor needs
  • Project and/or people management background preferred
  • Extremely proficient in software and database systems used in executing email programs including Adobe Campaign & Analytics
  • Proficient with HTML editors & coding HTML files
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree or commiserate experience
  • 5+ years working with bulk electronic communications (Email + SMS)
  • 5+ years’ experience in HTML coding
  • 5+ years working with clients and/or marketing agencies in similar capacity; pharmaceutical marketing or FDA-based communication experience preferred
  • 5+ years managing people and/or projects
