Engineering Technician - Completions

This is a growth position providing assistance to the Completions Team managing data and reports to execute an E&P program with the primary focus being horizontal Marcellus and Utica shale wells.  Work with various departments across all locations to gather and maintain data to generate various reports for the team and management. Contributes to the development of engineering plans and designs. Maintain and track costs, KPI’s and statistics. Work location will be based in the Canonsburg, PA office.

Target Responsibilities:

• Work safely at all times.
• Work closely with completions engineers to aid in research, design and analyses.
• Help integrate all available data into useful tools, guides and scorecards.
• Collaborate with the Operations Technology team to pull through data management efforts.
• Assistance in well-readiness process, reporting tools and QC (data, costs, etc.) effort is required.
• Build, update and maintain presentations, weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, databases and analyses.
• Ability to facilitate communication with other departments.
• Assists in the preparation of detailed completion procedures for field operations.
• Assists in preparing cost estimates and AFEs, forecasting as accurate as possible.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a safety-minded individual.
• A BS in engineering is preferred but not required.
• Strong team and relationship building skills are required.
• Must be able to engage completions operations and manage cross-functional teams.
• Must possess basic computer skills – Microsoft Office, Microsoft Team, etc.
• Experience with data analytics software (Spotfire, PowerBI, etc.) and basic coding (Python, SQL queries, etc.).
• Experience with WellView is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to confidently make presentations to all stakeholders.
