Reports to:  Housekeeping Manager

Weekly Work Hours:  Full time

Shift Times:   As is typical to the hospitality industry, staff require the flexibility to work a range of shift times (morning, day, evening) and all days of week (7 days a week / Sunday – Monday availability) including weekends and holiday's

Pay Type:  Salary

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Communication with Housekeeping Manager and/or HM regarding daily HSKP tasks
  • Upholding hotel cleanliness standards with outsourced labor provider
  • Support Housekeeping Manager to ensure departments goals, cleanliness standards and assigned projects are upheld and accomplished.
  • Scheduling of employees, ensuring adequate staff available
  • Conduct room inspections and provide feedback to outsourcer team as necessary
  • Making recommendations and participating in decision-making re
  • Acting as Department Head when the Housekeeping Manager is off or on vacation
  • Liaising with other departments re: Housekeeping needs and requirements
  • Purchasing
  • Laundry transactions, include billing and inventory
  • Logging found items in Lost & Found Log
  • Ordering items and processing invoices (if assigned)
  • Opening and closing of Housekeeping, specifically room assignments and cleaning
  • Inspection of public places to determine cleaning schedule
  • Attending daily, weekly and other leadership meeting as directed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum 2-year Assistant Housekeeping and/or Housekeeping Supervisor management experience
  • Fluent in English, bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) preferred
