HR Analyst & Payroll Assistant
Who We Are:
Club Quarters is a privately-held, entrepreneurial company, and a trend-starter in membership-based corporate hotels. The company’s hotels are designed for both business and leisure travelers, offering full-service facilities in major urban centers such as New York, London and Washington, DC. Today, the company has 16 hotels representing 4,076 rooms with food & beverage outlets that are both leased and managed.
What You Will Do:
- Support Human Resources Functions including payroll, benefit administration, employee records, applicant tracking, recruitment, and new hire onboarding.
- Perform administrative functions for the benefit plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Assist with gathering and tracking data for HR/DEI metrics and employee feedback through pulse surveys, exit interviews and engagement surveys.
- Support Executive Directors, ensuring timely production of reports and presentations.
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Prepare agendas and presentations, assist in preparation and distribution of reports and materials.
- Assist with processing and auditing of weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for all hotels and Central Services.
- Reconciling the Ceridian/Dayforce Payroll to the actual checks and reports.
- Coordinate and assist with company events.
- Conduct analyses of compensation and benefits data from various sources, benchmarking against industry standards, geographic locations and revenue metrics.
- May guide and/or assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
- Perform special projects and analysis as requested.
- Perform other related work as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance
- 1 - 2 years Ceridian/Dayforce experience required;
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and policies;
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent Excel & Powerpoint
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities;
- Previous experience in Hospitality or related industry a plus;
- Excellent professional communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment;
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, locally as well as globally.
