Position Summary: 

The Technical Product Analyst plays a vital role in the successful delivery of our industry-leading products and services. This position will operate in the details and ensure that we have the right technical specifications and artifacts to support a high-quality development effort and ensure customer satisfaction upon delivery of the product or service. Partnering closely with key leaders throughout the organization, the Technical Product Analyst will walk alongside the delivery of requirements from start-to-finish to ensure that we produce tangible benefits through the products and services we provide to our customers.

 

This is a Remote/Work from Home position.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the definition and delivery of ClearCaptions and Vimient next generation customer solutions.
  • Work with product managers, program managers and business analysts to understand the requirements and develop comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Facilitate a key role in the overall delivery process by providing requirements and specifications management and traceability through the delivery of the project to production.
  • Work with architects and engineers to craft solutions addressing business needs.
  • Be hands-on with describing business rules as technical artifacts for development and test engineers, product managers, and any functional team that depends on this information.
  • Define requirements at a level that can support application development and testing.
  • Analyze technical specifications and create user stories for engineering and test engineering teams.
  • Be the product owner for the scrum teams driving project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a test engineer, software engineer, business analyst, systems analyst, product owner, or product manager is required.
  • Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and data capturing.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry and/or in working with the older adult population or AgeTech.
  • Experience with Telecom/Telephony Industry.
  • Experience working within an API driven architecture with hands-on role in the creation of technical design documentation, using sequence diagrams, activity diagrams and general UML best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven methodology for managing project artifacts, including versioning, approval workflows, etc.
  • Experience with understanding business processes and the ability to develop detailed workflows to communicate current and future states to the key stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 10%); will include some overnight travel.
  • Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
  • Proficient in Jira & Confluence.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience in working with overseas outsourcing partners and may require off-work hour meetings.

 

Physical Requirements:

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time: 

 

  • Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%)
  • Keyboarding (95-100%)
  • Viewing computer monitor, tablet, and cell phone requiring close vision (95-100%)   

 

Work Environment: 

100% Remote: Work environment is primarily indoors at home, customer or vendor site, or other business meeting venue, exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions during travel, and exposure to hazardous driving and traffic conditions. Travel (up to 5%) may include overnight and out-of-state travel.   

 

Compensation

$93,200 – 117,600 plus a 5% bonus with consideration to experience and geographical location. Please see www.clearcaptions.com/careers for an overview of our generous benefits program.
