The SaaS Product Manager oversees the management and internal administration of the organizations suite of current and future SaaS products focused on new business needs as well as management of existing business continuity. This line of business software includes focus on season planning and operations, finance, resource management and content management.  

 

The SaaS Product Manager will work with IT and business stakeholders on business process documentation, change management, new feature development, bug reporting, and staff training for Carnegie Hall business applications Act as a proxy for the business users, and represent their needs in discussions with IT, external vendors, or other internal groups. Depending on the project, the SaaS Product Manager will create project teams or work with existing teams, communicate with all stakeholders, hold regular update meetings, and act as an IT liaison between Carnegie Hall departments, consultants, and SaaS vendors. Widely used SaaS products at Carnegie Hall include Diese, Lytho, Artifax, Wordfly and a new ERP system, experience working with one or many of these products is preferred but not mandatory.  

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Become the internal subject matter expert of current and future SaaS products to foster internal expertise. 
  • Identify, document and evaluate all SaaS applications and subscriptions throughout the organization. 
  • Assist with budgeting and projections as they apply to Carnegie Hall’s SaaS suite of products. 
  • Create technical documentation around business use cases, integrations and governance within IT best practices for application adoption, license provisioning, security, privacy, and user on- and off-boarding. 
  • Develops ongoing partnerships with business stakeholders and vendors to lead digital transformation and increase organizational ROI, adoption, and agility. 
  • Schedule and lead training sessions to encourage professional development for new and existing staff members. 
  • Act as the IT admin to provision elevated user permissions within each system. 
  • Identify and onboard new SaaS products as required by the organization.
  • Manage Day-to-day project management of open issues with external vendors and Carnegie Hall stakeholders.
  • Provide training and product support to staff members. 
  • Recommend improvements to current workflows, processes and efficiencies. 
  • Manage and communicate the status of active and pending issues to all stakeholders on a regular basis, including business stakeholders, technology team and external vendors.
  • Embrace JIRA and other team collaboration tools to effectively identify, track, and communicate priorities both for day-to-day and long-term planning.
  • Proactively manages and mitigates issues and risks.
  • Work with the internal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure team to make sure all SaaS applications adhere to cybersecurity best practices for account security, two-factor authentication, etc. 

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with 5 years’ experience 
  • Proven background in managing Business software and stakeholders  
  • Knowledge of Diese, Artifax, Lytho, software a plus 
  • Experience working with ERP software like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, MS Dynamics, etc. A plus 
  • Experience working in an agile setting with Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence), Smartsheet 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools 
  • Experience with APIs integrations a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required. 
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines
