Project Manager

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC is hiring for a project manager at Fort Carson, CO. This position will oversee abatement and demolition at Fort Carson.

This position will require routine onsite visits to the project site at Fort Carson.

Responsibilities

• Develop project objectives by reviewing and write project scope and plans
• Plan, organize, schedule, and efficiently manage labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors in accordance with contract time and the established budget
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and subcontractors throughout the project
• Monitor project closely to proactively address out-of-scope work requests, unforeseen conditions, and time impacts
• Conduct weekly coordination/progress meetings with site subcontractors and communicate results to the Program Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related field
• 3+ years of working experience in the Federal construction realm
• Advanced knowledge of demolition principles/practices required
• Experience leading successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
• Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate verbally and in writing
• Candidate must be able to pass a government background check

Physical Demands

• Candidate is regularly required to sit and talk and hear. The candidate is frequently required to walk; use hands and arms to reach. Candidate is required to stand, balance, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Candidate must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

• The candidate will have frequent visits to demolition sites in may be exposed to hot or cold weather conditions.
