SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking a Real Estate Transaction Specialist to support the Air Force Real Property Management Division.  The Real Property Management Division (AFCEC/CIT) provides services and expertise for the Air Force real estate program and electronically processes transactions for coordination with various offices on its way to gaining a signature of approval or decision. AFCEC/CIT is considered the execution arm for Higher Headquarters (HHQ) established policy and as such implements installation level procedures to ensure the highest level of adherence to Air Force policy.

The successful candidate will be a critical part of the SpecPro team providing exceptional support to supplement the Air Force civilian personnel.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Obtaining and monitor the movement transaction packages in accordance with the real estate transaction checklists found in the AFCEC/CIT playbook.
  • Assist with reviewing, processing, and tracking transaction packages in accordance with the current real property delegations of authority using existing processes illustrated within the AFCEC/CIT playbook and applicable Air Force Instructions (AFIs).
  • Assist AFCEC/CIT with brand new grants, soon to expire grants, and identify expired grants. 
  • Perform independent technical reviews of real estate packages submitted by installations to ensure KSDs are included. 
  • Perform reviews to assess technical accuracy/completeness and compliance of real estate packages with applicable regulations, statutory authorities, policies, and AFIs. Assist installation personnel in providing a quality real estate transaction package to achieve mission goals, plans, and other recommendations established by Air Force and DoD policies, guidance, statutes and regulations. Consult with AFCEC/CIT PM’s to determine next steps.  The review of transaction packages for completeness are due no more than 2 days after receipt.  
  • Minimum of 50 transactional packages shall be reviewed/processed per month by each employee supporting real property transactions.  
  • Provide expertise to host and conduct conferences and meetings as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, answering telephones, correcting grammar, spelling, and formatting to accurately prepare, review, and edit written correspondence and the maintenance of and updating of files and records.  
  • Develop informative, professional project presentations, briefings, and reports.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a real property
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience working with databases preferred.
  • Possess extensive organizational skills and the ability to work independently; must have outstanding filing, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate experience with high-level correspondence/communication and understand the military/government chain of command process.
  • Work well in a mixed government/contractor team environment and take direction well
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to develop presentations, briefs, and written reports
  • Ability to adapt and develop innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in a customer service, contractor environment
  • Air Force experience preferred
  • An existing NAC-I clearance

The position will support a mixed government – contractor environment in San Antonio, TX and requires the ability to receive a NAC-I clearance.
