Bonus: $3,000, $1,500 at 3 months, $1,500 at 6 months

Rate: $22.60
Reports To: 3rd Party Team Leader

Job Summary:

Our mission is to provide high-quality services to children and adults who face the lifelong challenges of mental illness, drug/alcohol dependency, and developmental disabilities. The Third Party Analyst supports this mission by the daily administration of third party billing and accounts receivable.

Supervisory Responsibilities:



·Collections Activities

·Oversee payment management including all cash application (Third party and Dynamics on an as needed basis).

·Distribute cash received from payers within 3 business days of bank deposit.

·Notify Director of A/R of rate changes at the conclusion of cash application, if applicable.

·Maintain an excel spreadsheet each month with a listing of each deposit for third party and amounts to reconcile with the monthly bank statement.

·Initiate printing of paper bills for 3rd party billing. Initiate printing of data for appeals and corrective billing.

·Responsible for ensuring that all cash received for 3rd Party programs is entered into the Hill billing system prior to month end close.

·Consistently communicate cash issues to Director of A/R, to ensure that these issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner

·Upon request of Director of A/R, initiate information for appeal/corrective billing within all designated timeframes

Other Tasks

·Reconcile revenue entered into Dynamics against Financial Income Statement on a monthly basis.

·Reconcile Dynamics accounts on a monthly basis to confirm accurate balances.

·Develop and maintain procedures and best practices to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and payer requirements

·Maintain the confidentiality of client information according to HIPAA regulations

·Complete special projects as necessary and other relevant duties as assigned


·Minimum of three years experience in relevant third party operations functions required

·Proficiency in MS Excel and computer literacy; ability to learn new software quickly

·Proficiency in Hill A/R Plus or similar software preferred

·Highly developed organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

·Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse population of colleagues, program staff, and payers

·Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team

·Professional documentation and communication skills

·Ability to be flexible, open, and responsive to ongoing industry changes

·Ability to identify opportunities and obstacles and develop effective, creative responses to both problem-solving and the pursuit of new opportunities

·Commitment to excellent performance and willingness to follow through on all reasonable means to complete assigned functions in the most timely and accurate fashion possible

·Ability to attend meetings at various locations within and without Bay Cove

·An acceptable CORI (criminal record assessment)
