Customer Service Specialist
Position Summary: The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing premier customer service to internal and external customers with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to manage high volumes of orders and issues and effectively problem-solve on a daily basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide premier customer service for products for external customers
· Provide extensive external and internal customer contact through order handling and problem solving
· Work with US/Export contacts to fulfill International customer orders
· Understand export process and shipping requirements
· Act as primary point of contact for International customers
· Function in a team environment, providing back-up and assistance when needed, without being asked
· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal customers and other team members, company business contacts, and supply chain personnel
· Maintain an effective two-way communication with the business
· Be proactive in handling customer orders and problem-solving
· Provide premier customer service for products for external customers
· Provide extensive external and internal customer contact through order handling and problem solving
· Act as the first level of SAP support for AdvanSix CSRs
· Provide emergency coverage during unexpected team absences
· Perform SAP testing as needed
· Function in a team environment, providing back-up and assistance when needed, without being asked
· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal customers and other team members, company business contacts, and supply chain personnel
· Maintain an effective two-way communication with the business
· Be proactive in handling customer orders and problem-solving
Basic Qualifications:
• College degree or commensurate experience in chemicals customer service
• ERP experience required SAP (6.0) sales and distribution experience strong preferred
• 5+ years of experience in AdvanSix SAP S/D module

· Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
· Strong computer skills with willingness to learn new programs
· Must have strong initiative and commitment

· Must be a self-starter; able to work independently and in a team environment
