Position Summary: The HSE Management Systems Specialist oversees the site Responsible Care® management system to ensure conformance and continual improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain documented HS&ES management system certified to RC14001:2015 for the Chesterfield plant
  • Maintain document control and oversee HSE procedure update process
  • Support the enterprise MIS software solution implementation to meet changing needs
  • Conduct HSE management system internal audits at other manufacturing sites
  • Benchmark with other company sites to identify improvement opportunities
  • Work with site teams to integrate HS&ES systems with Quality, Operations and Engineering functions
  • Conduct prioritized aspect/risk and trend analysis to support strategic planning
  • Actively participate on the site CARE committee
  • Conduct in-plant HSE observations and assessments
  • Support Chesterfield plant HS&ES function including reporting of key performance metrics, monthly reporting, and aspects management
  • 10% travel

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, safety, environmental, logistics management, engineering, MIS, or related fields

· 1+ years of experience with demonstrated success in a health, safety, or environmental role, management systems, or related area

· Excellent leadership and verbal and written communication skills

· Demonstrated audit skill and/or ISO based management systems lead auditor a plus

· Strong process orientation

· Excellent organizational skills

· Demonstrated Project Management skills
