Summary

The Financial Analyst will join a growing pan-European team of real estate professionals and will be a key contributor to the European expansion of Realterm. Candidates will gain exposure to all aspects of the real estate private equity business and will work closely with the senior leaders of the European team. In this role, candidates will have the opportunity to support the investment team from deal origination to closing, the fund management team and the managing director in portfolio operations, perform market research, and  participate in investor relations activities and reporting. We are collecting resumes for the 2024 Program and successful candidates will join the team in early July 2024.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining complex financial models
  • Supporting the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of investment opportunities
  • Coordinate and execute due diligence activities
  • Coordination of deal closings
  • Creating internal and external meeting materials, including Investment Committee memos, tenant and investor presentations
  • Build and maintain Realterm Europe’s database
  • Prepare fund related reporting documents and approval papers
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and maintaining company website
  • Support leasing files and asset management initiatives
  • Researching new investment strategies and supporting the raising of private equity funds

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required, and Argus Software experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using SharePoint, Intralinks or other document control software.
  • Ability to work proactively on multiple projects at the same time, with great attention to detail, in a small team and in a satellite office.
  • Positive attitude and a very strong work ethic
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, and fluency in any other European language (Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish,) is a plus.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Engineering or related major.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in real estate with demonstrated knowledge of underwriting analysis and transaction experience preferred.

 

Work Environment

The position will work in a general office setting and may require travel, up to 40% of time annually, to remote office locations based on organizational/business needs.
