Edger Operator - Night Shift (Jones Lumber - Natchez)

Jones Lumber Company is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Edger Operator to join their Natchez, MS Industrial Sawmill operations team.

General Responsibilities

• Work safely - know, understand, and follow all safety rules
• Input sawn lumber through edger to cut prescribed board lengths
• Handle, sort, and stack lumber by dimension, species and grade
• Safely maintain flow of the product
• Utilize hand tools, i.e. broom, shovel, etc. to clean up sawmill debris
• Some greasing and basic maintenance
• Cross train in other positions
