Power Drive - Converter Machining

Job Overview: There are a variety of tasks this position completes, including operating manual lathes and using basic hand tools. First, a machinist must begin the process by checking the specifications and readouts for the parts at hand.  This operator then must make decisions on the type of machining or polishing processes needed to meet specifications.  They calculate how to shape the piece of metal or other material that is being worked on and decide what tools will be needed.
